Finance Fanatics Portfolio Overview- February 2017

Here’s the latest breakdown of the holdings in the FinanceFanatics portfolio

Take a look at the allocation of each investment and the current excessive holdings in Investment Trusts. I’m hoping to address this by buying further holdings in bonds and ETFs as soon as I can afford it… I also really want to invest more into precious metals and keep at least 5% of the portfolio in gold.

The rest of the portfolio is doing well although I’m thinking about reducing exposure to UK mid-caps by selling JMF, mainly because I don’t think we’ve seen the fallout from Brexit yet. I’m also tempted to sell TR Property due to the fees they’re currently charging. Maybe I’ll sell and buy another REIT instead…

I’ll be giving regular updates on the holdings as new investments are added and sold so be sure to check back regularly to see how we’re doing.

Definitely agree with you on not yet seeing the fall out from Brexit. Look forward to reading more on your portfolio journey.

Thanks. I’m moving my workplace pension into my SIPP in the next week so there’ll be some major changes to watch. Just one step closer to financial independence ☺
